Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Mechanical Integrated Product Team Lead, Associate Director, to oversee all mechanical attributes of the weapon system. This onsite role involves coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines and interfacing with customers to ensure robust design, verification, and production readiness.

The position requires a TS clearance, extensive experience in mechanical development and production transitions, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams within RTX’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in at least 2 of: mechanical development, integration and qualification; structural / thermal analysis; mechanisms design and test; transition to production (TTP).
• Leads multidisciplinary teams; EVMS/IMP/IMS or risk and opportunity management experience; understands Mechanical Engineering Product Development Cycle.
• Active Top Secret U.S. clearance required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and improve technical documentation for development and production efforts.
• Support design and system verification testing/data collection.
• Support system performance analysis.
• Oversee modeling of the system using CREO.
• Participate in failure investigations.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer across IPTs/CPTs and with suppliers.
• Own scope and budget of a large group of control accounts.
• Mentor earlier-career engineers.
