Job summary

Williams is seeking a Technical Specialist Sr to resolve sophisticated problems in oil & gas operations, coordinating with partners to ensure data accuracy and availability. The role emphasizes leadership, presentation, and training, with safety as the top priority.

You will review design documents, mentor others, participate in project planning, and ensure compliance with mechanical integrity standards, API certifications, and governmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience with at least 6 years in oil & gas.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 10 years in field operations/construction or other technical specialty field.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderately difficult assignments to ensure system integrity, support pipeline operations, maintain compliance and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoots/resolves sophisticated problems using technical evaluation, innovation and judgment.
• Develops, presents and trains internal and external partners; may mentor others.
• Participates in project planning and works closely with company partners.
• Leads development and tasks associated with operations, equipment maintenance, technical standards and/or governmental requirements.
• Reads, understands and evaluates engineering design documents, contracts and agreements.
• Other duties as assigned.
