Job summary

Williams is seeking a Technical Specialist III to ensure system integrity, maintain compliance, and safeguard facility equipment and pipeline operations across the Princeton Division. The role emphasizes project planning, collaboration, and data accuracy, with extensive PLC, HMI, AB, and SCADA experience required.

The position requires strong Microsoft Office skills and a background in oil & gas, with availability for after-hours work, travel between Williams locations, and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma/GED and equivalent experience or Associates degree in engineering or a technical field with at least four years in oil & gas.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field with seven years progressive field operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderately sophisticated technical assignments that ensure system integrity, compliance, facility equipment maintenance, and pipeline operations support
• Participates in project planning and collaborates with company partners to guarantee accurate and available data
• Reads, understands and evaluates engineering design documents, contracts and agreements
• Adheres to all policies and procedures
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Application, PC skills and experience in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), HMI, Allen Bradley and SCADA solutions
• Provides Tier 2 Support for training, troubleshooting, commissioning, archiving and programming across the Princeton Division
• Proficiency in Modbus, Network Topology (including Fiber), HMI experience to include PanelView, Redlion, Nematron
• Experience with Allen-Bradley from PLC5 to Studio 5000 in addition to AB hardware, including legacy
• Reads, interprets and troubleshoots legacy relay logic
• Other duties as assigned
