Job summary

ADM in Decatur, IL is seeking a Mechanical Integrity Superintendent to lead the site's MI program, ensuring regulatory compliance and asset reliability for fixed equipment. The role partners with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering and Corporate MI resources to drive risk reduction.

You will set goals, KPIs, and governance for inspection, testing, repair, and maintenance of pressure vessels, piping, tanks and relief devices, while directing audits and data management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Mechanical Integrity, Inspection, Reliability, Maintenance, or Fixed Equipment Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA PSM Mechanical Integrity requirements.
• Strong working knowledge of API 510, API 570, API 653, API 571, API 580, NBIC, and applicable ASME codes.
• Experience managing fixed equipment inspection programs.
• API certifications (510, 570, 653).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Experience with IDMS platforms and asset integrity management systems.
• RBI implementation experience.
• Experience leading Mechanical Integrity programs across multiple facilities.
• Experience implementing or governing IDMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and execute the site's Mechanical Integrity Program.
• Establish program goals, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA PSM and API/ASME standards.
• Oversee inspection strategies for vessels, piping, tanks, and relief devices.
• Provide technical oversight for damage mechanism reviews and RBI.
• Manage IDMS data, governance, and regulatory documentation.
• Lead internal MI audits and support regulatory inspections.
• Supervise MI personnel and mentor engineers and inspectors.
