Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation in Ohio is seeking a Mechanical Integrity Engineer to lead the MI program, develop maintenance strategies, and apply RBI, FFS, and corrosion analysis to keep fixed equipment safe and reliable. You will collaborate with maintenance and reliability teams to drive asset integrity and plant performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical preferred).
• 5 years experience in maintenance, reliability, or mechanical integrity in a chemical plant.
• Proven success leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience with API 510/570/653 and ASME B31.3 / BPVC VIII.
• Knowledge of corrosion and fixed equipment failure; modern inspection technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the mechanical integrity program (MIP) for fixed assets.
• Perform RBI assessments and establish inspection intervals per API standards.
• Support FFS evaluations and corrosion analyses to ensure safe operation.
• Oversee inspections and implement reliability improvements for static equipment.
• Provide technical support for capital projects and equipment upgrades related to MI.
