Job summary

SIRIS LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to support a Smithsonian expansion project at the National Air and Space Museum. The role focuses on mechanical, electrical and plumbing inspections, CPM scheduling, and reporting to the COTR.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years of experience with GC or subs, strong QA/QC oversight, and proficiency in Blue Beam and Procore. On-site work in a federal project environment is required.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years’ experience with GC or Subcontractor performing mechanical inspections.
• Experience coordinating and managing installation on large Federal projects (> $40M).
• Experience with installing or inspecting mechanical and electrical systems; familiarity with IBC, NFPA, NEC.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage CPM schedules; inform the COTR of progress and delays.
• Coordinate inspections for mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ensure contract specs are implemented per codes and standards; coordinate access to building systems.
