Job summary

JT4, LLC seeks a Maintenance Trades Specialist III – Mechanical/HVAC with strong experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC disciplines. You will diagnose, repair, and service industrial facilities and environmental-control systems on various sites, often under challenging conditions.

A formal apprenticeship and CFC certification are required, plus US citizenship for security clearance eligibility. Expect field work outdoors and indoors, with occasional travel to remote facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and apprenticeship training completed
• CFC certification required on hire for HVAC base trade
• 10 years of directly related work experience in Mechanical/HVAC
• In addition, candidate is in process or has training in a second trade
• Must be US citizen and able to obtain security clearance

Responsibilities

• Diagnose sources of trouble in mechanical equipment
• Dismantle subsystems and perform repairs with hand tools
• Replace defective parts from stock
• Prepare written specifications for major repairs
• Reassemble machines and adjust for operation
• Install, service and repair HVAC systems and related components
• Fabricate and install ductwork and chassis parts
• Measure, cut, weld, and connect piping and refrigerant circuits
• Provide project status updates to supervisor
• Read and implement safety, quality and environmental requirements
