Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Trades Specialist I Mechanical – HVAC to support DoD contracts by performing mechanical and HVAC repairs across facilities and field sites.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an apprenticeship, CFC certification, and at least two years in building trades. A DoD security clearance must be obtained within 180 days, and candidates must be U.S. citizens with a valid driver's license. Travel and varying shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completed formal apprenticeship.
• CFC Certification required at hire.
• Two years of related work experience in Mechanical/HVAC/Electrical trades.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance within 180 days.
• Must have a valid, current state driver’s license and be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical equipment and related subsystems.
• Dismantle or partly dismantle subsystems and perform repairs with hand tools.
• Install, service and repair HVAC systems per blueprints or specifications.
• Fabricate ductwork and mount units; install piping and controls as required.
• Follow QA, safety, and environmental requirements; travel to remote sites as needed.
