Job summary

The Christman Company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator to lead estimating and planning efforts for the region. The role focuses on MEP costs and shaping budgets from schematic documents, while guiding design-phase services and juggling multiple projects.

You will supervise estimators, develop conceptual and detailed estimates, and present results to clients, with emphasis on strong subcontractor relations and value engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• Eight years of estimating experience in construction or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, engineering, business, or finance.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating efforts and mentor estimators and estimating engineers.
• Develop conceptual and detailed cost estimates for projects and supports planning groups.
• Present estimating results to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain and update databases of price and scope information.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to define project parameters.
