Job summary

The Christman Company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator to lead estimating and planning efforts for the region. This role focuses on MEP costs and guides preconstruction with conceptual estimates, helping interpret incomplete or schematic documents and delivering design phase services across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include supervising estimators, leading major estimating efforts, developing estimate reports, and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, engineering, business, finance, or a related field.
• Eight (8) years of estimating experience in construction or related field.
• OR equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, check work, and mentor estimators and estimating engineers.
• Develops and oversees conceptual estimates for assigned projects and supports planning/engineering groups.
• Leads major estimating efforts and develops clarifies estimate reports.
• Cultivates strong subcontractor knowledge and relations.
• Experienced in presenting estimating results to clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrates knowledge of all civil structure architectural trades.
