Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator to lead lump sum and cost‑plus estimates for large projects. You will coordinate pre‑construction activities, oversee multi‑discipline estimating teams and ensure accuracy of content, structure, and schedules. Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience, including estimating experience.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.).
• BS or MS in Construction Management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares cost estimates on proposals, projects and studies.
• Coordinate and review the estimating factors with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Construction.
• Direct, train and develop subordinate staff; maintain estimating database.
