Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior E&I Estimator to oversee lump sum, unit rate and cost plus estimates supporting proposals and projects. The role requires coordination across multiple disciplines and guiding the estimating team.

Responsibilities include pre-construction activities, scope reviews, and ensuring estimate accuracy while aligning with project plans and schedules. Excellent analytical and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience, including estimating experience.
• May include pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, CVR search).
• Preferred qualifications include formal CM degree and project estimating exposure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates on proposals, projects and studies with complete and accurate content.
• Coordinate and review estimates across Engineering Operations, Procurement and Construction.
• Develop and mentor junior estimators and maintain estimating database.
