Job summary

The Recruiting Hive in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Sr. Electrical Estimator to support large-scale industrial EPC and data center projects nationwide. The role focuses on delivering accurate, competitive estimates for ambitious infrastructure programs.

You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams, review drawings and bid documents, and develop comprehensive proposal packages. Data center experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Electrical construction estimating experience in industrial or EPC sectors.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of materials, installation methods, and labor requirements.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs and subcontractor bid evaluations.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Bluebeam, McCormick, or Accubid preferred.
• Data center project experience is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.

Sr. Electrical Estimator – Industrial EPC & Data Center Construction

Location: Houston, TX

Fully onsite. 40-45 hours week M - F.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support a growing portfolio of large-scale construction projects, primarily within the rapidly expanding data center market. Additional projects span the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and other heavy industrial sectors.

This position offers the opportunity to work on complex electrical construction projects nationwide, collaborating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop accurate and competitive estimates.

Prior data center experience is not required. We are interested in electrical estimators with strong technical construction backgrounds who can bring their expertise to this growing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, not required.

• Data center construction experience is a plus, not required.

• Ability to work independently and travel nationwide as needed.
