Job summary

Linesight in Ohio is seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join our estimating team. You will develop the estimate plan, coordinate estimate development with the project team, and lead the total project estimate to support bidding and execution.

You will maintain local rate libraries, perform risk analysis, and recommend contingencies while building strong client and team relationships. This role rewards a tenacious, detail‑oriented professional with proven seniority in construction

Qualifications

• Estimation experience of 10+ years in construction with growing scope
• Experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX
• Degree or comparable construction-related discipline
• RICS, CEP or CPE chartered or on path; company can help

The Opportunity

In this role you will:

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team
• Lead the development of the total project estimate
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations to the project team
• Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization, project objectives and guidelines
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates

Qualifications

• Have grown your experience as an Estimator over 10 years with increasing levels of scope and responsibility in a construction environment
• Have demonstrated experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX
• Have a degree or comparable experience in a construction related discipline
• Are RICS, CEP or CPE chartered or are on the path to complete it. We can help!

• Are detail oriented and quality focused
