Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator in Lansdale, PA to lead the estimate development for complex construction projects. You will coordinate with project teams, develop total project estimates, and advise on contingency and risk analysis to drive accurate bids.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of estimation experience in construction, proficiency with Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX, and proven communication and relationship-building skills with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as an estimator in construction.
• Experience with estimating software such as Sage Timberline, InEight or CostX.
• Degree in a construction-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• RICS, CEP or CPE chartered or on the path to certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team
• Lead the development of the total project estimate
• Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations to the project team
• Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization, project objectives and guidelines
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates

• Have grown your experience as an Estimator over 10 years with increasing levels of scope and responsibility in a construction environment
• Have demonstrated experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX
• Have a degree or comparable experience in a construction related discipline
• Are RICS, CEP or CPE chartered or are on the path to complete it. We can help!
