Job summary

Boralex Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead planning, execution and technical support for major mechanical interventions on wind assets in Texas and New Mexico, with contributions across other US jurisdictions.

You will partner with operations teams to improve reliability and asset performance. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, 5+ years of wind O&M experience, and the ability to interpret inspection results and OEM guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in wind turbine operations and maintenance (O&M).
• Strong understanding of wind turbine mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret inspection results, condition monitoring data, and OEM documentation.
• Experience supporting field operations and site interventions.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced inspections of wind turbine mechanical components.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise major mechanical maintenance activities.
• Provide technical input on modifications and retrofits.
• Lead or support failure investigations and RCA for mechanical incidents.
• Contribute to fleet-wide reliability improvements.
