Marmon Industrial Water LLC in Warren, NJ seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design, analysis, and development of complex water treatment systems. You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineered solutions that meet client specifications and project schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, a PE license, and 7+ years of experience, with travel up to 10% in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required; PE license required.
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical design codes and standards including ASME, ANSI, API.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities; able to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design of pressure vessels, piping, skids, and packaged equipment for industrial water treatment applications.
• Review drawings, P&IDs, BOMs and fabrication details for accuracy.
• Specify equipment such as pumps and valves to meet project requirements.
• Enter and manage engineering data and BOMs in ERP to support manufacturing.
• Ensure designs comply with ASME, ANSI, and other codes; perform engineering calculations.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to deliver integrated designs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
• Review vendor drawings for conformance to project requirements.
• Support manufacturing, assembly, testing and commissioning; participate in design reviews.
