Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Mechanical Process Lead to join our water/environmental project teams in the United States. You will lead large wastewater treatment process mechanical designs, coordinate with project managers, and deliver constructible designs using P&IDs, 3D models, and specifications.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license or equivalent, a mechanical engineering degree (or related credential) and extensive experience in wastewater/environmental systems.

Qualifications

• Lead process mechanical design for large groundwater and wastewater treatment projects.
• Develop functional, constructable process mechanical designs with P&IDs, diagrams, layouts, and specs.
• Prepare Basis of Design reports and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead process mechanical design for large groundwater and wastewater treatment projects.
• Develop 3D models, plans, specifications, equipment data sheets, and technical documentation; AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit MEP and hydraulic/pipe stress software experience preferred.
• Coordinate with vendors to select and procure equipment and components.
• Communicate with clients, discipline leads, vendors, contractors, and regulators throughout design and construction.
