Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design VIP aircraft monuments and mechanisms, ensuring FAA compliance, quality, and schedule alignment. You will select materials, perform weight and balance analyses, and work with manufacturing engineers to optimize parts, costs, and assembly.

The role requires extensive CAD experience (Inventor preferred, AutoCAD) and a background in aviation interiors, with a focus on delivering premium, reliable interiors for VIP clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and minimum of 8 years relevant experience in aviation interiors.
• Aviation background and aircraft interior experience required.
• Strong CAD/Design skills with Inventor and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design complex monuments and mechanisms meeting customer criteria and FAA requirements.
• Select materials and evaluate trade-offs to optimize cost and performance.
• Analyze subsystem specs and ensure designs meet budgets and schedules.
• Support test setups and generate test reports.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to reduce parts, costs and errors.
• Provide guidance to other engineers and maintain state‑of‑the‑art knowledge.
