Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies in Denton, TX is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for Monuments to design VIP aircraft interiors and mechanisms that meet customer specs, FAA requirements, and project schedules.

You will use Inventor and AutoCAD to create complex monuments and moving features, select materials, and work with Manufacturing to optimize cost and quality.

Aviation background and at least 8 years of relevant experience are preferred. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; 8+ years relevant experience or equivalent
• Aviation background and aircraft interior experience required
• US Person/U.S. ITAR compliance may apply

Responsibilities

• Designs complex monuments and moving features for VIP aircraft interiors
• Analyzes subsystem specs and selects materials for performance and cost
• Collaborates with Manufacturing to reduce parts, costs and errors
• Ensures designs meet customer specs, quality standards and FAA requirements
• Supports test setups and test reports and provides design guidance
