Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Aviation background and aircraft interior experience required.
• US Person for ITAR compliance: US Citizen / permanent resident or qualifying status.

Responsibilities

• Designs complex mechanical aircraft interior furnishings and/or structures (ceiling, sidewalls, OEM mods, flooring).
• Analyzes and interprets subsystem and project specifications.
• Selects materials based on structural needs and meets design objectives while considering cost and manufacturability.
• Optimizes designs with Manufacturing Engineers to reduce parts, cost and assembly errors.
• Ensures designs meet customer criteria, quality standards and FAA requirements.
