Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer V - Analysis to lead structural analysis across propulsion hardware and space systems. You will model, simulate, and evaluate components from concept to qualification, coordinating with design, materials, and chief engineering teams.

You will apply first-principles and advanced methods to assess safety margins, fatigue, and fracture, while guiding design decisions and validating through tests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical/Aerospace/Applied Physics with extensive experience.
  • Experience with FEA software and various analyses (static, dynamic, elastic stability).
  • Ability to work autonomously with clear scoping and planning.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis to quantify safety margins, fatigue life, and fracture.
  • Develop computational models and run simulations for high-pressure, thermal, and vibratory environments.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to guide design decisions and risk management.
  • Support hardware testing and data processing for validation and verification.
  • Develop analysis tools and methodologies and stay current with industry practices.
  • Document analysis processes and communicate results clearly to stakeholders.
