Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop hardware for aerospace and defense projects. You will create CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and documentation for solid rocket propulsion hardware, while performing structural and thermal analyses.

You will support testing, integration, and production, collaborating with propulsion, systems, manufacturing, and QA teams. A U.S. security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering with related experience in propulsion or high-reliability environments.
• Strong background in mechanical hardware design, docs, and GD&T.
• Experience with aerospace/defense standards and 3D CAD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and tooling for propulsion hardware.
• Create 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and engineering docs for rocket hardware.
• Perform structural, thermal, fatigue, and tolerance analyses as assigned.
• Support hardware testing, integration, and root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure producibility and compliance.
• Participate in design reviews and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Assist in production support and design improvements for safety and cost objectives.
• Apply aerospace engineering practices and risk management to improve hardware.
