Blue Origin is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to join our Mechanical Engineering team in Washington. You will own the design, development strategy, and tactical planning across multiple disciplines, delivering robust hardware through the full design cycle with minimal supervision.

You will create and review drawings and specs, influence schedules and budgets, and help mature processes and best practices across the program.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or closely related
• 5+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience across hardware lifecycle

Responsabilidades

• Lead and contribute to the full engineering design cycle with technical depth
• Own product design, development strategy, and planning with minimal day-to-day direction
• Create, review, and maintain engineering drawings, models, and test procedures
• provide input on schedules, budgets, and milestones with technical approvals
• Contribute to tool development, process improvements, and engineering product support
• Apply advanced engineering fundamentals across requirements, design, fabrication, verification, and test
