Northrop Grumman in Gilbert, AZ seeks an Engineer Mechanical/Principal Engineer Mechanical (Level 2/3) to join our I&T team. The role focuses on integrating and testing space vehicle hardware, coordinating build activities and developing procedures that meet strict spaceflight requirements.

You’ll work with a diverse team to ensure safety and mission readiness. Ideal candidates have a STEM degree with experience in space systems, and an active DoD Top Secret clearance or ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM and 2 years of related experience or Master’s Degree and 0 years.
• Experience in integration, test, mechanical operations, or manufacturing.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance required at time of application with ability to obtain SCI/SAP clearances.

Responsibilities

• Perform I&T activities for space vehicle systems and their supporting hardware.
• Coordinate and oversee mechanical build and production operations by staff.
• Develop test procedures and processes aligned with space vehicle requirements.
