Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer and/or Mechanical Engineer in Gilbert, AZ, to drive design, analysis, and delivery of ground support equipment for Satellite Manufacturing Facility operations.

The role requires SolidWorks CAD, GD&T, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. First shift is 7:00am–4:00pm (flexible), with overtime and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with SolidWorks CAD Software.
• Experience with CAD configuration management.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design tasks using CAD to develop ground support equipment designs.
• Interface with customers, program and functional management, other engineering disciplines, and suppliers.
• Apply GD&T, 3D printing, DFM, and materials knowledge to support spacecraft components and layouts.
