Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience with 5+ years.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including structures and materials.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (Creo, I-DEAS) and model-based product definition.
• Ability to work in evolving requirements and dynamic schedules.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop mechanical design solutions using solid models, drawings, and release of engineering work products.
• Review requirements from stress, dynamics, thermal, etc. to ensure proper design flow.
• Collaborate with program leadership, domain experts, CM, and manufacturing.
• Release accurate, affordable and producible designs to meet program goals.
• Support production meetings and resolve anomalies.
• Provide weekly/monthly status updates to peers and leadership.
