Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space seeks a Mechanical Engineer Design Verification Checker to join our team in Colorado. You will verify detailed drawings, models, and engineering work products, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure program requirements are met.

You will independently review sources from design, stress, systems, and manufacturing to ensure accuracy, producibility, and cost targets. Prior CAD experience and a clearance-eligible status are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of related experience; alternative 3 years with a bachelor’s degree.
• Strong interpretation of engineering drawings and GD&T fundamentals.
• Experience in CAD modeling, drafting, and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, analysts and manufacturing for design verification of drawings, models, and releases.
• Review models and requirements from design, stress, systems, and thermal disciplines to meet program needs.
• Drive timely, accurate, affordable, producible engineering designs to release.
