Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO, seeks a Mechanical Engineer for the CPS Team to support design, manufacture, procurement and test of structure subcomponents and assemblies. You will coordinate with customers, suppliers, test facilities and related disciplines such as manufacturing, quality, and systems engineering.

Proficiency in Creo/Catia/AutoCAD, MS Office, and US citizenship with ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Creo, Catia, AutoCAD).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• US citizen able to obtain a DoD secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support design, manufacture, procurement and test of structure subcomponents and assemblies.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, test facilities and related disciplines such as manufacturing, subcontracts, quality, structure design, analysis and systems engineering.
• Assist on the conceptual development, requirements definition and design of propulsion components.
• Maintain engineering drawings, specifications and analyses to support systems and components.
