Job summary

AutoStore seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Atlanta to drive simulation-driven design. You will conduct FEA, dynamic, fatigue analyses and work with CAD teams to implement robust hardware through rapid prototyping to production.

You will mentor new graduates, validate models against lab data, and help optimize weight, stiffness and durability while ensuring manufacturability and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience applying mechanical simulation in product development.
• Experience with FEA tools (static, dynamic, nonlinear) and test-data correlation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run structural, dynamic, fatigue and multibody simulations for AutoStore hardware.
• Contribute to CAD design and drawings using SolidWorks/Creo/NX.
• Support rapid prototyping, pilot builds, and production with manufacturability input.
