Job summary

AutoStore is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the architecture and development of mechanical subsystems within its robotic and automation platforms. You will own designs from concept through production and work across engineering disciplines to ensure robust, scalable products.

The role requires advanced experience in mechanical systems, reliability, and manufacturing considerations, with a focus on delivering high-volume, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of mechanical or electromechanical product development experience.
• Experience leading products from concept through validation, production launch and sustaining engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical subsystem architecture from concept to production release.
• Lead design reviews and mentor engineers across mechanical, electrical, controls, and software teams.
• Perform FEA, modal, fatigue analyses and design verification activities.
• Drive DFM/ DFA/DFR with suppliers and contract manufacturers to enable scalable production.
