Job summary

AutoStore is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead structural design and validation for high-volume robotics systems. You will own load paths, trade-offs, and certification readiness while ensuring manufacturability and long-term reliability.

The role requires deep expertise in structural analysis, FEA, and cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software teams to deliver global solutions.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in structural or mechanical engineering with emphasis on structural analysis and product development.
• Experience developing and validating structural systems from concept through production.
• Strong proficiency with finite element analysis tools such as Ansys Mechanical, Ansys Workbench, or equivalent simulation platforms.
• Experience with fatigue life prediction, vibration analysis, and reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design, analysis, and validation from concept to production release.
• Develop and validate finite element models and correlate with physical tests.
• Perform structural calculations and simulations: static, dynamic, vibration, fatigue, impact, seismic.
