AutoStore is hiring a Mechanical Engineer I to design, develop, test, and support mechanical systems enabling warehouse automation. You will work with experienced engineers, learn hands-on automation tech, and contribute to reliable product development in real-world customer environments.

This early-career role emphasizes learning, problem solving, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, with opportunities to impact manufacturability and cost efficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 0-2 years of engineering experience, including internships, co-op programs, academic projects, or professional experience.
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, materials, and machine design.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the design, development, and validation of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
• Create and maintain 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Support prototype development, assembly, and testing activities.
• Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, manufacturing, and field engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Assist with product verification, reliability testing, and design improvement initiatives.
• Apply engineering principles and established design standards to solve technical challenges.
• Support continuous improvement efforts focused on product performance, manufacturability, and cost optimization.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas to improve products and processes.
