Falcata is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to own the mechanical and electromechanical designs for RF technology prototypes from concept through fabrication, integration, and testing in Huntsville, Alabama. You will work across disciplines, trade off designs under schedule changes, and mentor less‑experienced engineers on design practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent).
• 5-7 years’ experience in mechanical/electromechanical product development.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD for complex modelling and drawings.
• Ability to create and review technical drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication across engineering disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Own mechanical design of housings, enclosures, brackets, adapters, and assemblies; create 3D CAD models and drawings.
• Define concepts, maintain BOMs, coordinate prototype parts and assembly procurement.
• Lead mechanical integration of electronics into host platforms and resolve fit and interface constraints.
• Plan prototype assembly, testing, and use results to drive design improvements.
• Lead design reviews and document changes and trade-offs with stakeholders.
