Job summary

Ably Resources is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer for major refinery EPC projects in the United States. This role involves providing mechanical engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, from FEED to construction. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years' experience in the refinery or petrochemical sector, with a strong background in rotating equipment and vendor management. Responsibilities include preparing engineering deliverables, leading evaluations, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in mechanical engineering within refinery, petrochemical, or downstream EPC projects.
• Strong experience with rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, and associated auxiliary systems.
• Knowledge of international codes and standards such as API, ASME, and ANSI.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical engineering support across various project phases.
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables including specifications and datasheets.
• Lead Technical Bid Evaluations and prepare detailed evaluation reports.
