You will drive design from concept through prototype development, testing, documentation, and production, collaborating with customers and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires hands-on prototyping of motors, actuators, and sensors, plus strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, Revit), and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

• TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and testing cycles.
• Hands-on experience building and testing prototypes (motors, actuators, sensors).
• Proficiency with CAD for mechanical design and documentation (SolidWorks, Revit).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of mechanics, dynamics, fluids, heat transfer.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop product design and advanced engineering analyses.
• Create and deliver drawings, coordinate hardware fabrication.
• Prepare technical procedures, cost estimates, and design reviews.
• Support Program Manager with technical, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and customers to shape solutions.
