Job summary

Leoforce in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead analysis, design, and evaluation of complex building systems. You will develop drawings, specs, reports, and cost estimates while guiding junior staff and coordinating with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license with 15+ years of experience in design of building-related mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and evaluate mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, control systems, medical gas infrastructure, process piping, and fire protection.
• Develop drawings, specifications, reports, cost estimates, and related deliverables.
• Provide construction-phase support by reviewing submittals, RFIs, and design modifications.
• Lead, mentor, and support the development of junior staff.
• Contribute to client relationship management efforts and project planning.
• Manage projects to align with budgets and schedules across design and construction phases.
