Job summary

LeoForce in Durham, NC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for medium-to-large building projects from concept through construction. You will review designs and specs, ensure code compliance, and coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other disciplines.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, 9+ years of AEC/building electrical design experience, and strong technical leadership with client-facing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and active PE license required.
• 9+ years of AEC/building electrical design experience.
• Experience leading complex projects; healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, design standards, Revit/BIM, and QA/QC.
• Strong technical leadership, project coordination, and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for medium to large building projects from concept through construction.
• Review designs, calculations, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and construction documents for quality and code compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other disciplines.
• Manage electrical scope, schedule, budget, and project deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership, QA/QC oversight, and mentorship to engineers and designers.
