Job summary

Timken in Broomfield, CO is seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to read specs, create models and fabrication drawings for electro-mechanical goods, and manage projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will lead design reviews, support procurement, schedules and budgets, travel for technical support, and contribute to QMS and ERP usage. Requires 4+ years in engineering and 2+ years PM; PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years engineering experience (mechanical/structural/electrical).
• Minimum 2 years project management experience strongly preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts by reviewing specifications and creating models/drawings.
• Serve as project engineer for multiple projects, handling procurement, schedule and profitability.
• Drive project and vendor coordination, create schedules and budgets.
• Create submittals, approvals, and operation manuals meeting client expectations.
• Travel to job sites for technical support and relationship building.
• Contribute to process improvement, including the QMS.
• Leverage ERP systems to manage materials, schedules, and project data.
