Job summary

The Timken Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer at the New Castle regional service center to support operations for Timken Power Systems/PG brand. The role focuses on evaluating customer specifications, leading repairs and upgrades, and developing detailed CAD drawings.

A bachelor’s degree in design or mechanical engineering and 5–10 years of experience are required. Candidates should have SolidWorks and LabVIEW experience, be eligible to work in the US, and be prepared to interact with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design or mechanical engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years rotating equipment engineering experience; up to 10 years acceptable.
• Experience with SolidWorks and LabVIEW preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer specifications for repair and upgrade of equipment.
• Determine reuse suitability and develop rework, quality, and test procedures.
• Lead technical repair/new build projects and ensure timelines are met.
• Coordinate activities at vendor facilities and other locations.
