Job summary

EMCOR Group is seeking a Project Manager in Colorado to lead planning, directing, and coordinating mechanical and facilities construction projects. The role includes budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing field operations, while supporting field personnel and managing subcontractors.

You will manage purchasing, change orders, and contract scope, ensuring projects meet client expectations, safety standards, and warranty requirements across diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in diverse mechanical projects across industries.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or related field with progressive construction experience.
• Proficient in Accubid, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam for planning and documentation.
• Familiar with local municipal regulations for plan reviews, permitting, codes, and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with customers, colleagues, supervisors, staff, field workers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Develop project financial plans, create budgets, manage buyouts, approve purchase orders, and finalize CAD budgets.
• Oversee subcontractor engagement, negotiate contracts, coordinate change orders, and ensure timely payments.
• Monitor scope adherence and manage contract changes to align with client expectations.
• Lead project initiation, staffing, kickoff meetings, weekly progress meetings, and schedule management.
• Finalize project documentation, closeout purchases and subcontracts, and ensure warranty compliance.
• Monitor costs and generate final cost projections to avoid variances and overruns.
• Coordinate site mobilization/demobilization, laydown areas, and utility hookups.
• Prepare and submit RFIs and submittals for CAD integration.
• Collaborate with safety superintendent to implement project-specific safety requirements.
• Daily tasks tailored to project specifics.
