Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–7 years of hands-on industry experience with product design and engineering analysis.
• FE certification or ability to obtain FE certification within a reasonable time frame.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop designs with minimal supervision.
• Create design concepts and layouts utilizing Autodesk Inventor.
• Generate engineering documentation and calculations per standards (AASHTO, FHWA, MUTCD).
• Lead design reviews with engineers and cross-functional teams.
• DFM efforts with suppliers and internal teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Ensure designs meet cost, budget, and regulatory requirements.
