Job summary

ASM in Phoenix seeks a Senior Engineer I/II, Mechanical Engineering, to design and develop high‑precision ALD chamber and semiconductor equipment. You will apply mechanical fundamentals, create 3D CAD models, and generate GD&T drawings while collaborating across teams to ensure design quality and manufacturability.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in mechanical engineering, hands‑on experience with semiconductor or capital equipment, and proficiency in Creo.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline is required.
• Hands-on mechanical design experience in complex systems, preferably semiconductor or capital equipment.
• Proficiency with Creo and ability to produce detailed drawings with GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for ALD equipment and associated components.
• Create 2D drawings and GD&T for global supply chain usage.
• Perform structural, thermal, and fluid dynamics analyses to ensure robust designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to transition designs to production.
• Support prototype through high-volume manufacturing with proper documentation.
