Job summary

ASM is seeking a Senior Equipment Engineering Technician to support advanced semiconductor manufacturing. You will work with thermal and plasma ALD systems, troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical equipment, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve reliability and performance.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, equipment qualification, and continuous improvement within a cleanroom environment. Strong communication and documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with complex equipment, high-precision tools, or automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
• Experience with preventative maintenance, repairs, installations, and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on thermal and plasma ALD equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and automation issues.
• Monitor tool status, alarms, and performance; escalate as needed.
• Support installation, modification, qualification, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve hardware and process challenges.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
