Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • 4-7 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer or similar role.
  • Advanced integrated design expertise: simulation, 3D modeling, GD&T, DFM, materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Travel up to 10% may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development, testing, and validation of customizable power distribution and monitoring products, including customer-specific adaptations and support for product commercialization.
  • Coordinate testing and standards compliance, collaborate with production, quality, purchasing, and certification organizations, and mentor and review the work of other engineers and drafters.
