Job summary

The role involves thermal design, 3D layouts, and prototype testing with close collaboration across hardware, firmware, and program management.

You will participate in design reviews, tackle test data, and drive solutions that meet customer and regulatory specs while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in power electronics mechanical design, preferably using SolidWorks.
• Proven ability to design enclosures, heatsinks, cable assemblies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for power supplies with thermal design and testing.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and program management in product development.
• Lead design reviews and analyze test data to verify performance.
• Address cost and schedule goals with internal departments.
• Provide onsite support and travel as needed.
