Job summary

LeoForce in Irving, TX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3–5+ years in HVAC systems design for commercial, institutional, and mission-critical facilities. The role focuses on mechanical design, coordination, and energy modeling within a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities include conceptual design, equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, site visits, and cross-discipline coordination to ensure code compliance and quality.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of experience in the MEP industry.
• EIT certification required; PE license is a plus (or actively pursuing licensure)
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (or higher)
• Experience in HVAC design for commercial, institutional, and mission‑critical facilities
• Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the mechanical design process for new construction and renovations.
• Assist with conceptual designs, equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, and energy modeling
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure code compliance, coordination, and constructability
• Support construction administration tasks, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site visits
• Help track project quality, schedule, and budget
• Engage with clients to understand design needs and contribute to solution development
• Continue building technical and project management skills while working with senior engineers
