Job summary

Matrix PDM Engineering in Pittsburgh seeks a Mechanical Senior Engineer I to lead design and analysis across projects from concept through construction. You will act as discipline lead, coordinating internal and external resources and delivering complete project documents.

The role requires strong knowledge of piping systems, equipment packages, and client specifications, with a proven ability to manage scope, budget, and schedule while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering is required; MS degree preferred.
• PE certification is preferred for the role.
• Experience with industrial piping systems and equipment packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis on projects from inception through construction.
• Coordinate tasks with engineers, designers, and staff to meet scope and schedule.
• Prepare and manage project documents, budgets, and proposals.
• Evaluate equipment specifications and communicate with suppliers.
