Job summary

ENFRA Solutions seeks a Mechanical Professional Engineer II to design and coordinate advanced mechanical systems for energy and infrastructure projects on hospital and college campuses. The PE II leads portions of projects, delivering constructible, code-compliant designs for HVAC, hydronic, and thermal plant systems while solving complex challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering or mechanical engineering.
• 7+ years of design experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and design practices.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Signing and sealing engineering documents.
• Lead design and analysis of mechanical systems for moderate complexity projects.
• Develop project deliverables including calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Improve existing systems and support development of new solutions.
• Prepare detailed system configurations and control schemes with focus on energy savings.
• Conduct field investigations and site visits; coordinate 3D laser scanning.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and support construction-phase activities.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Interface with clients on technical matters.
