Job summary

ENFRA is seeking a Mechanical Professional Engineer II to apply advanced engineering techniques for HVAC, hydronic, and thermal plant systems across campuses. You will lead portions of projects, delivering constructible, code-compliant designs while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Your duties include producing calculations and documentation, supporting permitting, and addressing field conditions to ensure performance, reliability, and energy efficiency within ENFRA’s design-build

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architectural or mechanical engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Signing and sealing engineering documents.
• Lead design and analysis of mechanical systems for projects of moderate complexity.
• Develops project deliverables including calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Improves existing systems and supports development of new solutions.
• Prepares detailed system configurations and control schemes with emphasis on long‑term energy savings.
• Conducts field investigations and supports site visits. Coordinates and plans 3D laser scanning effort.
• Coordinates with internal disciplines and supports construction‑phase activities.
• Performs work with a high degree of latitude.
• Resolves complex technical issues independently.
• Provides informal mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Interfaces directly with clients on technical matters.
• May act as task lead or discipline lead on projects.
